Maria Kazaka, is a Greek soprano whose ''bright and agile'' voice and dynamic artistry bring life to a wide-ranging repertoire, from Baroque to Bel Canto. Her musical journey also embraces art songs and chamber music, reflecting her passion for storytelling. Maria made her operatic debut in May 2022 as Mustardseed in A Midsummer Night's Dream by Benjamin Britten, performed with Opera Zuid in the Netherlands. Since then, she has appeared in a variety of operatic productions, including Gianni Schicchi by Puccini (as Gherardino) with Zomeropera in Belgium (June 2023) and Hänsel und Gretel by Humperdinck (as Taumännchen), a production of Conservatorium Maastricht in the Netherlands (February 2024). Currently pursuing her Master’s Degree at Conservatorium Maastricht, Maria continues to refine her artistry, earning recognition for her expressive performances and dedication to her craft. She is also a part of the Macon Duo, together with guitarist Sandro Rodrigues, exploring diverse musical projects and chamber music.
